This is a repro of scaled down side view of a final sculpture revised from the finished Model. SFU VIsual Arts Class Final Project. At the time I was studing visual Arts for two years to compliment my film work re; set design,  and the muse en scene.. I will upload a video grab later of the scultpture in a Film scene from my film Crossings. (The Sculpture does not exist anymore.)  It was created from melted disco music records, black plactic tarp plastic, paint, wood and created through the angular constructs of a rectangle frame.  At the time, I was totally void of my 60s scoop abuse, but those historical experiences were subconsciously coming out through my work as a student artist in all my disciplines at the time. Particularily in a acting/directing workshop with Olivia Crawford. We were working with the colour pink,  and  as a young actor, suddenly a series of rages exploded out of the work. The instructor whispers in my ear, "Donald, you're scaring the other students,  come back to earth." Did not know where all that rage came from, but it was only a reflection from the 16 foster homes of hell between 1 and 4. A fact not realized till 1994, after my NBC MOW film with the Late Richard Crenna of First Blood. I added a picture of sylvester stallone and Me on the Hope BC set in 1982,Thank you for stopping by this site. :-)

2nd Still

The Black sculptiure on the still is the final product of the paper design of my old work. The sculture does not exist anymore.
This shot from my PC is taken from my youtube video of excerpts from my SFU FIlm Workshop 16mm film Crossings. I found the excerpts from my VHS archives, which included a tape of excerpts for a Canada Council grant. The Character (Dirk)performed by the late Bob Wilde knocks over the sculpture, when he is at Female character's (Lulu) art Studio. Lulu is performed by Sam Rathie. Do not have the original VHS copy of my 3/4 inch video copy of the film, but hope to transfer the 3/4 inch soon. Here is the youtube link of my excerpts from student film.
