Hunting With My Ancestors is a unique television show featuring Zacharias Kunuk as the host, hunter, and filmmaker. Showcasing the best hunters in the world, in one of the most inhospitable environments on earth, Hunting With My Ancestors is unlike any series currently on television. Zacharais brings viewers along on an arctic journey with Inuit elders and youth as they follow ancient hunting practices established over 4,000 years ago. Amid a backdrop of rapidly changing conditions in the arctic - climate change, industrialization, and increasing government restrictions - Zacharais pays homage to an activity that is at the core of Inuit identity.
