Silakut Series Episodes present the LIVE footage filmed in the Igloolik area, broadcast live in May and August 2019, edited into 10 episodes. Zacharias Kunuk discusses with people from five Baffin Island communities the expansion of the Mary River Mine. They meet up to play string games, hunt, talk about their campsites, tell stories of their youth, and voice their opinions of the mine. Youth and Inuit musicians give a live concert about their culture and resilience. Silakut Live from the Floe Edge is a creative investigation of questions communities have about the Mary River Mine proposed expansion.
