Interview with Dana Moraes and Graham Richard

“It will be cool to see it viewed in the outside community. But I think for me the biggest part is to see how people like it here, and youth and kids and adults to have the Haida language in a different context. Often Haida is sort of relegated to speeches at funerals, or large prayers, things like that. As much as we can push it out into the wider community it makes it that much more living.”

“You know part of the really neat part is just the research, looking at all the background as we are writing it. Making sure things are sort of as accurate as we can figure it out to be. I enjoy that kind of stuff.”
