This is the first greenlandic feature film production. We´re inspired by ”Atanarjuat – The Fast Runner”. If you can, so can we! The film portraits a young man MALIK who lives and works in Nuuk, Greenland. He´s a bit of a loner, but good at his job and with his friends. At an early age he lost both his parents in a boat accident, his mother was never found. He grew up with his grandparents. He meets a young woman NIVÈ and they fall in love. At the same time his childhood friend CARL PETER returns to Nuuk after many years in Denmark Just as his life is about to change for the better, he recieves a death sentence; he has uncureable cancer! He´s given the choice between going to Denmark, where he´s never been, and recieve a treatment that will at best prolong his life or stay in Nuuk, his hometown and die within a couple of months. He embarks on a last trip into Nuuk Fjord with his childhood friend (the café latté greenlandic) and together they meet new people and discover themselves.
