Obama Details Plan to Open Offshore Areas to Oil Drilling

The Obama administration’s plan adopts some drilling proposals floated by President George W. Bush near the end of his tenure, including opening much of the Atlantic and Arctic Coasts. Those proposals were challenged in court on environmental grounds and set aside by President Obama shortly after he took office.

El plan de la administración de Obama adopta algunas de las propuestas de perforación flotando por el presidente George W. Bush hacia el final de su mandato, incluyendo la apertura de gran parte de la costa atlántica y del Ártico. This is crazy. This feels like a bitter concession to the republican interests, in return for the implementation of the health care bill. Bet most grassroots Dems didn't see that one coming...
