IsumaTV traveled to Igloolik, Nunavut (Canada) to test out IsumaTV, DIAMA and the new Inuit Culture Education site. We installed two servers in both, the Elementary and High School, to allow teachers and students to access the website at high-speed and interact with it.

The experience was highly successful and helped us start developing uses of the education materials with Nunavut teachers and schools. The whole experience was documented and uploaded to the website : www.isuma.tv/isumatvinigloolik

The idea of documenting the complete process (how it works, what do people think of it, how they use it, how can they organize and manage it, what are the new ideas and new uses teachers and students can imagine; getting feedback on what is the problem teachers face with education up North, how does DIAMA/IsumaTV content works for them, etc.) was to show other Indigenous communities, who might be interested in adapting the concept to their needs, how the whole process works.
