"It shows non-Indigenous people exactly how the madness in our world came about. The next time someone asks, 'What happened, why are Aboriginal people so violent?' I will simply say, 'Watch The Journals of Knud Rasmussen.'" Lee Maracle, Mapping Our Way Through History: Reflections on Knud Rasmussen's Journals, 2007.

Atanarjuat The Fast Runner is an awesome movie !
awesome picture for awesome movie, i like those preview and running man, where can i get those movie, give me some link, see ya
The actors are astonishing, and it must have been so terribly cold up there, that you know this was a labor of love for the production team. The scenery is astonishing. Almost everyone who participated in this production was full-blooded Inuit. It is a beautiful story based on an Inuit legend that exists on many different levels and subplots, etc. All told on the frozen tundra without ANY indication given about the timeframe, or even century, in which it was set... thanks
That`s really cool! lainaa ilman vakuuksia as we say here in finland

Indigenous peoples are people, communities, and nations who claim a historical continuity and cultural affinity with societies endemic to their original territories that developed prior to exposure to the larger connected civilization associated with Western culture and these societies therefore consider themselves distinct from societies of the majority culture/s that have contested their cultural sovereignty and self-determination. It is nice watching a movie about them. Thanks. igre za dva
My interest was inspired by Willy Hensley's "Fifty Miles from Tomorrow"
