Igloo

An igloo (Inuktitut iglu, "house"), translated sometimes as snow house, is a shelter constructed from blocks of snow, usually into the form of a dome. Igloos are most commonly associated with the Inuit of Canada's far north. They are stilled used as temporary shelters by hunters during the winter, but no longer as winter long dwellings.
