Zacharias Kunuk at Trent University

Filmmaker Zacharias Kunuk O.C., Officer of the Order of Canada and Isuma president and co-founder, received an honorary Doctor of Law degree from Trent University, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, June 5, 2008. Director of the 2001 Cannes Festival award-winner, Atanarjuat The Fast Runner, and 30 other films in the past twenty years, Dr. Kunuk's speech recaps his journey from birth in an arctic sod house to the world stage from an Inuit point of view.
