The uniqueness of the barrenlands must be researched as to whether it can accommodate uraninum mining especially in a place where there is so much water.  What method is being used is it friendly to the environment and animal habitat?  I have hear about the damages that have been done to Navahos in the United States and continues to destroy the people, their lands, water and way of life.  Harm to future children and their children.

Most importantly to me the caribou....water....muskox...water fowl...pristine protected areas in the Thelon....tourism...youth excursions into the area for historical awareness and continued use of the area in its present form and kept for future generations determination.  I saw a TV program about a man that swan the Amazon and the extreme contamination of that system or a similiar system.  Water is a precious resource.
