The DIAMA Blog is an ongoing conversation related to the topic of indigenous media archiving. It will include posts related to the preservation and access of indigenous media via web technologies, as well as ways that archives and archival content is being used commuities, such as language preservation. We will also write about developments and perspectives within the DIAMA project.

Running with Reindeer is a video collage of personal memories and
references to the traditional semi-nomadic life of Sami reindeer
herders. Many Sami travel great distances across the arctic tundra, and
the film depicts “traveling” or “running” in many forms, both past and
present.
