Western Nunavut (Kitikmeot) tour organized through Isuma Distribution International and Nunavut Independent Television Network (NITV). February 18-26, 2020
Between February 18th and 26th, NITV coordinator Jenna Amarualik and filmmaker Asinnajaq travelled to the Nunavut communities Taloyoak, Gjoa Haven, Cambridge Bay, and Kugluktuk to screen the newly released Inuit films Restless River, One Day in the Life of Noah Piugattuk, and Asinnajaq's short film Three Thousand. They also did some screenings of the Arnait's latest children film Tia and Piujuq. We gave out DVD's of Tia and Piujuq and Time Machine comic books as prizes.
Screening were organized through local elementary and high schools, as well as community recreation coordinators. Qujannamiik to everyone who helped us make these screenings possible, who came to see the films, and welcomed us in your community.
