In preparation of the Peace Mission on the St-Lawrence 2009, a ten days pilgrimage in canoes in July to unite Natives and non-Natives in public ceremonies for Peace and reconciliation.

He started working at age 12 and went to school up to grade 3 but he had to stop going to school because he needed to hunt and help his family due his fathers blindness.
