Program name: Qaggiq (“Gathering Place” - refers to a large igloo built for the gathering of several families).  This program is IBC’s journal on news and current affairs.  Weekly stories range from the streets of Iqaluit where housing is scarce, to legislation in the halls of Parliament Hill and beyond to Inuit hunting grounds where Inuit and regulations sometimes collide. The focus on coverage is from an Inuk perspective. Qaggiq is a half hour program for the 25 to 46 year-old age group produced in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Language:  Inuktitut

Segment 4: Host Saali Piita interviews Simeonie Amagoalik, Johnnie Kuki and Nunavut residents about planning for the land claim agreements in 1991.

Segment 5: Ida Awa interviews Iqaluit residents about what their thoughts are about the Iraq war and Canadian Armed Forces being involved in the war.
