History of the Iñupiat: The Voice of Our Spirit tells the story of how the Iñupiaq language, one of the oldest languages in the world, has survived despite 150 years of trauma including epidemics, missionaries, boarding school policies and US government assimilation policies. A powerful reminder of the importance of teaching language in the battle to maintain our culture.

History of the Iñupiat: The Duck-In is about US government attempts to regulate traditional hunting rights of the Iñupiat in 1961. This is the story of the first major conflict between the Federal government and the Iñupiat people and marked the beginning of the battle for land rights in northern Alaska.

This is a wonderful examination of the Sundance, a sacred ceremony that began in the Plains of North America.
