Acerca de
The Piqqusivut Digital Media (DM) Component complements the
Piqqusivut TV series with an enhanced exploration of Inuit language,
culture, history and heritage. One of the important parts of the
Piqqusivut DM is to encourage young viewers to actively learn more
about the challenges and opportunities creating original Inuit-
language content for television audiences. By providing interviews,
scripts, and “behind the scenes” footage, the Piqqusivut DM shares
this journey of creating the animation series from the point of view of
the Inuit-led creative team, producers and performers. These videos
provide important context for viewers of all ages, sharing the creative
talents of our Inuit-led production team and the challenges of working
with contemporary animation technology.
