Program name: Qaggiq (“Gathering Place” - refers to a large igloo built for the gathering of several families). This program is IBC’s journal on news and current affairs. Weekly stories range from the streets of Iqaluit where housing is scarce, to legislation in the halls of Parliament Hill and beyond to Inuit hunting grounds where Inuit and regulations sometimes collide. The focus on coverage is from an Inuk perspective. Qaggiq is a half hour program for the 25 to 46 year-old age group produced in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Language: Inuktitut
