Segment 1: In 1986, Rankin Inlet locals go out fishing at Iqaluit (fish) Lake during the summer. Using all terrain vehicles (ATVs) on a trail, they drive over 20 kilometers to reach the lake where some people also take their canoes equipped with outboard motors. IBC captured this footage both on land and in a helicopter.

The Inuit Broadcasting Corporation, established in Canada's territory of Nunavut, has been producing Inuit language video, by, for and about Inuit since 1981.
