Amaqjuaq
Lead male. A powerful, physical young man -- a force of nature. He is neither mean-spirited nor kind. Like his brother Atanarjuat, he is a confident hunter, well-dressed, and well fed.
PAKAK INNUKSUK was a founding member Pond Inlet's Toonooniq Theatre Group which performed local theatre pieces in Ottawa, Vancouver and Greenland in the 1980's. An experienced actor, Innuksuk played the role of Amaqjuaq in Isuma's dramatic production, Atanarjuat, and with Canada Council support he is writing and producing new live theatre work in Igloolik
