My name is Sue Ball and I live in Arviat with my husband, Donald, and our two dogs. I recently retired from the curriculum branch of the Department of Education in Arviat.
Nunavut youth between the ages of 17-25 from Kugluktuk, Rankin Inlet, Pangnirtung, and students living in Ottawa, speak openly and honestly about their experiences in high school. These strong young Inuit share the challenges and the opportunities of education. ________
Synopsis:This short video was recorded for broadcast on "Qanuqtuurniq - Finding the Balance", a three-part TV series about Inuit wellness. The series, produced by Inuit Tuttarvingat of the National Aboriginal Health Organization, aired live on APTN North in Canada and 360 North in Alaska in May 2009.
