 In this first episode, Elders from different communities share their knowledge and experiences from a time before and after colonization. A time when gender roles were clearer and life was simpler in some ways. Though it becomes evident that keeping the same values from that time to today, presents conflicting messages to women facing violence. The elders also talk about living in these modern times. Our directors and cast all searching for a way forward in respecting the wisdom of elders but also adapting to modern day realities.
