IFN Tour Gallery

Rankin Inlet
IFN Tour started in Rankin Inlet in November 2006. Isuma´s team participated in the Community Feast and screened The Journals of Knud Rasmussen the next day. We had about 300 people on that first screening.
Quebec Tour
Isuma team screened in four communities around Quebec The Journals of Knud Rasmussen and some indigenous documentaries. Our team also gave some video workshops to the youth of the communities. Here some of the videos the youth made.
Northern Arctic
In this tour two youth from the Artcirq group went along with the technician. They screened The Journals, talked about their experience with circus and video art to other youth, and gave some performances at the communities they visited.
Western Arctic
In this tour the artist Lucy Tulugarjuk went along with the technician. They screened the Journals and Lucy talked about her experience as an actress, sang some Inuit songs to the audience, talked about the style of Isuma´s films, and our technician shoot some scenes for a larger documentary it´s now in process.
Mexico
This was the first screening in Latin America. We screen The Journals and the teaser of our next film Before Tomorrow. This screening open us the doors to develop more projects between the Inuits and other indigenous communities.
