Uvagut TV is Canada's first Inuktut television channel - broadcasting a rich 24/7 slate of programming from Inuit producers across Inuit Nunangat.   In addition to great movies, information, cultural programs, current affairs and priceless archives, we  broadcast 5 hours of kids programming daily from 6AM - 9AM EST every morning and in the afternoons from 2:30 - 4PM and 5PM - 6PM EST.

Uvagut TV  is available on Shaw Direct basic satellite 267 nationally; Arctic Co-ops cable 240 in Nunavut and NWT; FCNQ cable 308 in Nunavik; and online here (click on the player below).

By Inuit in Inuktut (60% English subtitles): children's series, movies, documentaries, live shows and priceless archives by Isuma, Kingulliit, Arnait Video, Artcirq, Taqqut, NITV and other independent Inuit producers; and by Inuit Broadcasting Corporation (IBC), Inuvialuit Communications Society (ICS) and other media organizations. Uvagut TV is owned and operated by Nunavut Independent Television Network (NITV). Bell, Rogers and other cable-satellite services coming soon, stay tuned.
